What Pro unlocks

Every feature works on the free install — favourites, reminders, encrypted channels, as many playlists as you like. What a free television does not get is time: a channel it has never opened plays for 15 minutes, and 40 seconds on every visit after that — closing the app does not start it over. A licence takes the clock off.
